About the Artist
Mighty Craic was formed in 2014 in Austin, TX. The term "Craic" comes from an old Irish term meaning” Fun or Good Time", as in having a mighty good time. The members include (Irishman) lead singer Mike Sleeman (vocals/guitar), Mitch Stuart (guitar/mandolin), Jackson Daly (guitar), Levi McClaferty (bass/vocals), and Jim McCarthy (drums). Mighty Craic's sound consists of rock & roll, funk, hard rock, and psychedelic tones all mixed into one big soulful sound. Influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Primus, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Dave Grohl drive the band to offer powerful original songs with high-energy dueling guitar solos, dramatic lyrics, ensnaring bass lines, and funky backbeats enrich the band's overall sound. Each artist has their own unique approach to writing, producing, learning, and exceptional musicianship to back it up.
