About the Artist
Scamper Scamper is an electropop duo from Toronto.
Brought together by the love of kittens, puns, bicycles, catchy tunes, and by an airplane (since Lisa had to move across the Atlantic first), Jamie and Lisa started Scamper Scamper as a project to fulfill their respective teenage dreams. Over the last decade, Jamie has been writing music with an eclectic selection of bands – but has never been able to find a female bassist to share his musical pursuits. Lisa's background is in classical music, but she's always thought it would be cooler to perform in a pop band. Scamper Scamper's first album features more synths than the usual indie production and more guitars than your typical pop act. Well dressed and with a frenetic pace, Scamper Scamper address their audience with a mischievous twist on modern electropop.
