About the Artist
At five years old, Aubryn told her mother, verbatim, “You realize, of course, that I’m going to be famous.” While she was sure of this very early on in life, it took a few years to convince her parents. When she was 13, her mother took her to Nashville for the first time to record her first demo. She graduated Stephens College as a Theater Major with a minor in Music and, in 2009, moved to Nashville to pursue a second degree in songwriting at Belmont University. Seeing the level of talent in songwriter’s rounds made her step up her game. She immersed herself in the world of open mic nights and worked her way into songwriters rounds around town. Being able to collaborate with other writers improved her own writing, and she now repays the favor by inviting them to the rounds she hosts on Wednesdays, as well as her weekly webcam concert series Aubryn’s Musiconversation every Thursday evening and her newest adventure IndieLyft (IndieLyft.com).
