Celtic Folk Rock with a East Coast Pop influence
Brian England is a singer/songwriter from Antigonish, NS. Brian has a broad musical background, which is evident in his diverse repertoire of songs. He is both a pianist and guitar player, and an accomplished vocalist. Brian released his debut full length solo CD, entitled "Blue" in March of 2014. Blue was recorded at The Sound Mill Studio in Charlottetown, PEI under producer Jon Matthews. Players on the album will include Danny Sutherland, Jon Matthews, Cynthia MacLeod, Kinley Dowling, Gene Smith, Dave Gunning, Nat Lamareaux, Chris Corrigan, Ian McInnis, and of course Brian England. Brian, along with Lewis MacKinnon and Danny Sutherland, performs with the accomplished group, Jug in Hand. Jug in Hand has 3 full length CDs and 1 ep to their credit and has frequently performed on National television, radio, and have made live appearances at pubs, festival, and concert stages all over the Maritimes and Southern Ontario.
