Tribal Dreampop // Montreal
“Electronic Tribal Space Rock”, “Chilly-N-Synthy-Dark-Disco”, and “Shaded Retro Electro”, are just some of the ways reviewers have described the sound cultivated by Montreal’s Diamond Bones. The band takes pride in the fact that their music doesn’t fit into the box of a single genre, and frankly, the craftier the description, the better. Since forming in mid 2012 they have recorded a full-length album, were part of the Top 5 Best Musical Acts in Cult MTL's "Best Of" poll (2013, 2014), and part of the Top 10 in CBC's 2014 Searchlight competition. They have played the Pop Montreal, CMJ, NXNE, Northside festivals, and have recently signed with Third Side Music for licensing and publishing. Recent shows include opening for Chad Valley, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr, Geographer, JD Samson & MEN, and Seoul.
