Baltimore-based folk, funk, rock foursome
Driven to Clarity, a Baltimore-based band whose diverse palette draws from such genres as funk, folk, rock and pop, has entertained audiences throughout the east coast. Starting as a guitar and vocal duo, Andy Branigan and Dave Cohen shared the stage with such acts as Patti Smith, Sam Sparrow and American Idol winner Phillip Phillips. To take their music to the next level, the duo decided to expand to a full 4-piece band. The new outfit has had the opportunity to headline shows at Rams Head Live in Baltimore City, the Recher Theatre in Towson, Hard Rock Cafe in both Washington D.C and Baltimore, the Velvet Lounge in Washington D.C. and other clubs throughout the area. With new additions of Carl Pfanstiehl on bass and Carlos Diggs on drums, Driven to Clarity is recording their debut EP scheduled to be released in the spring of 2014.
