Gula is one of the pioneering bands of melodic punkrock scene in Mexico. Since its inception in 1996 , the quintet native of Mexico City is an obligatory not only gender but the underground Mexican scene. His long career, musical skill mix, lyrics that balance the humor with social criticism and a powerful live show has led to share the stage with some of the most popular punkrock and hardcore worldwide bands: The Offspring, NOFX, Millencolin, Union 13, MXPX, Tumbledown, A Wilhelm Scream, Underoath, Bleeding Through, Set Your Goals, Mest, Bouncing Souls, Fun People, Attack 77, 2 Minutes, Boom Boom Kid, among others. They have been part of the Vive Latino festival, X Games Mexico, Kick Off Party Vans Warped Tour, and had performed in the major cities and the multiple scenarios in Mexico City.
