New fresh groovy band from Montreal
Key OG is a groove/funk/expérimental sextet leaded by the multi-instrumentist Etienne Miousse. The band, who is most influenced by artists such as Bonobo, RJD2, Dave Matthews Band and Ratatat. The group members studied together at Cegep de St-Laurent few years ago. Together, they’ve played in many bands : Bernadette, Patrick Lehman, NSD, Dubmatique, Marabu, Valérie Daure, Pascal Chaumont and many more. They know each other very well and it shows up in their music. Their sonorities, rythms and effects bring their music to another level. Key OG exist only since the summer of 2012 but they’re already on the montreal music scene because of their originality, energy, synergy and their musical skills.
