MC J.D. MC JD is one of the staples in the jungle / drum and bass scene in Toronto. He has travelled globally showcasing his art of rhyme. After over 20 years in the scene he has a voice and style that is comparable to none. His ability to “let the music breath” has made him the choice MC of any and all promoters globally. He is a resident MC with Destiny Event Productions and Electronic Nation Canada. MC JD is notably known for his smooth Ragga flow, intense double time flow and intricate hiphop word play. He can smash a 5000 people party or host over for a select few. JD is no stranger to music – In 2012 he was awarded the Citizens Award for acclaim in the Arts by the City of Brampton. This was for his work not only in the EDM scene but also in the South Asian diaspora where he had released a solo album with Sound Pipe Records UK. He has over 50 releases under his belt and over 15 music videos.
