About the Artist

Acoustic singer/songwriter Belmont University

Rachel is a young award winning singer/songwriter . Her songs are instantly familiar, refreshingly organic, surprisingly emotional and unarguably cool. Rachel has been influenced by the rock of Grace Potter, the bluesy jazz of Norah Jones and the crossover country tunes of Sheryl Crow. She has played at venues in L.A., New Orleans, Atlanta, Athens and Nashville, such as Hard Rock, Red Clay Theater, Eddie’s Attic, Nashville Palace, House of Blues and even at the Peachdrop. Rachel has opened for artists such as Big & Rich and Ashton Shepard. Rachel performs regularly at local festivals, coffeeshops and restaurants. Rachel has released her debut album “A Hundred Places” which is now on iTunes. Radio 105.7fm ATL plays her songs occasionally on their Locals Only segment. She will be attending Belmont University in August.
