About the Artist

10 piece, Toronto, new-roots-reggae band

The Human Rights have spent 6 years honing their unique style of uplifting, ultraheavy, new roots reggae music. The ten piece band have just recruited Toronto soul singer Tréson, who's powerful voice is the perfect compliment to Friendlyness' dance hall style. After two Canadian tours, CBC recording sessions, opening slots for reggae legends Gregory Isaacs, John Holt and Beres Hammond, and a feature in the new Trailer Park Boys movie, The Human Rights are gearing up to record their next LP at legendary Toronto recording studio Phase 1 and begin taking the world by storm.
