The Soles are an energetic and uplifting alternative rock band. As The Big Takeover USA editor put it: 'I’ve long bemoaned that few current bands say anything about surrounding issues. “[Broken Ghost] Makes old punks say "yea!”'. In 2008 the Soles released their first official full length record You Burst Into Fire Again and the band got its first break showcasing it in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, shortly after they played their first big international show at the Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle. They have continued to play festivals and tour ever since. In 2011, they released their second effort the Broken Ghost EP which charted in the top-30 on numerous College stations across Canada. In June 2014 The Soles released their 3rd album, the experimental Anodos Kathodos Ep, which is gaining top-10 college radio play and critical acclaim. The Soles are a high energy and inspiring live band. The kind of band that people say, 'You’ve got to see them live.'
