Prince Ismael Asumanu popularly known as Yung Sterling is a Ghanaian Hip hop,Hip life and Dancehall artist born on 16 March,2003.He is the first child of his mother Grace Gothar and the second child of his father Tadjudine Asumanu.He had his basic education at Osei TuTu Int. School and later furthered at Hohoe Evangelical Presbyterian Secondary School (HEPSS).The young rapper started rapping at the age of eight years where he released his first freestyle single titled My Letter but at that time Yung Sterling did not make up his mind on becoming a musician. He later realise his dream to be a great Hip Hop artist when he was in class four (Osei TuTu Int. School) where he started going to studios, going for rehearsals on playing musical instruments and rapping.The young rapper said he got his inspirations from great Hip Hop artists like Sarkodie,Jay Z , Eminem , 50 Cent ,Nas,Lil Wayne 2pac,XXXtentacion, Juice World and more.Yung Sterling had about fifteen songs but during those times , he was known as Prinz KB . He released his first official single titled Never Broke on 28th January 2020 after he rebranded . He later jumped into the school beefing challenge that went viral in the Volta Region with another single titled Hepss Boys which he was defending his school. After getting more exposure during the release of his single "Never Broke", Sterling decided to quit music for unknown reasons .He was toping charts for the most popular hip-hop artists in Accra on Reverbnation for one and a half month where he also got the chance to be singed to Damage music but he turned the offer down . Yung announced he will be resuming his music career soon .
