Session players are the talented and versatile musicians that record and tour with major artists. They’re the unsung heroes that help headliners look and sound their best.
Two of the best and most experienced are Tony “Cisco” Marsico and Darran “Dewey” Falcone, who have played with a long list of legendary rock icons including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Roger Daltrey, Marianne Faithful, John Doe, Joe Ely, Matthew Sweet, Gerry Goffin, and more.
Since session players like them play a big role in helping the artists we love but are often overlooked, they formed a new band of their own, Cisco & Dewey, and assembled an All-Star line-up for a performance of the “Session Players Club” at the Grammy Museum on Thursday, July 23rd.
