Music Business And Addiction: How Music Hurts The Artist And How It Heals

An in-depth look at how the music industry contributes to artists’ addictions and how music helps in the healing process. Our panel will include industry management who over the course of their career have helped over 50 artists find and maintain recovery while maintaining a successful career in the music industry. We will also show how to utilize music to ease any triggers while recording or on the road and discuss what it is like during active addiction and the process of working while in recovery. The panel will also include artists in recovery to share their experiences both in addiction and in recovery, and a clinician with experience working with artists and the process.
